Recently we were connected with the Paschal Family. They are currently in the adoption process as well and awaiting a match. One of the ways their family raised funds for their adoption was through running. Paul Paschal is an avid runner who has ran some pretty impressive miles! In fact, he ran 100 miles during their fundraising efforts!! Paul has now offered to run 94 miles on May 15 on the White Pine Trail in hopes of supporting us in our adoption efforts. Can you imagine if someone you had just met said “sure, I’ll run a bunch of miles to help raise money for your family!” What a selfless and caring act this is! When we started our first adoption process we were blown away by people we had never met who stepped out in faith with us and supported us along our journey. Going into this adoption we continue to have complete faith that God will place people and opportunities into our path to do the same, and here He is doing it! So, as we run the race to adopt again, Paul will graciously be giving us his time and using his gifts to run for us. This journey can be weary so it’s absolutely a blessing to have people like the Paschal family to come alongside us.
