Gratitude

We cannot begin to express in words how much gratitude we feel towards everyone who has met our announcement with excitement, joy and support. We feel so blessed to know there are so many out there praying for us and our journey to bring Ellie home. We feel so very thankful for the stories that have been shared with us through this. Stories of people who have been adopted, adopted children themselves, have a family member living with Down syndrome or other special needs and/or work with children or adults with special needs. We have also enjoyed hearing from those who are considering adoption or pursuing it currently and have reached out to us to learn more or share their stories. These are all beautiful stories that connect us. These stories have become so important to us. So, with immeasurable gratitude we thank each of you for how you have touched our lives during our sharing and feel hope for next steps and the support we will continue to receive.

Side note…..if you are thinking of adoption and want more information we would love to share our experiences with you. This process has been both overwhelming and amazing all at once and we have relied on those who have experienced it first hand for guidance and support and would love to do the same!
